Nellaphant ‘s Lesson in Kindness

Nellaphant ‘s Lesson in Kindness

The power of kindness and empathy.

Oliver is so grouchy,” Nellaphant  said. “But I think he might be lonely.”

Max, always full of ideas, said, “Maybe we can cheer him up! Let’s be his friends.” Sara agreed, “Sometimes all it takes is a little kindness.”

Nellaphant , Max, and Sara decided to always be kind and help others, knowing that small acts of kindness can change hearts.

  •  Paper or cardstock
  • Crayons, markers, or colored pencils
  • Stickers or other decorations (optional)

Draw and Decorate: Fold the paper or card stock in half to make a card. On the front, draw a happy picture, like a sun, a heart, or friends holding hands.

Write a Message: Inside the card, write a kind message or a nice note. Think of someone who needs some kindness and address the card to them.

Give the Card: Give your card to the person. It could be a friend, family member, or neighbor. Watch how your kindness makes them smile.

Share Your Experience:

After giving the card, talk about how it felt to be kind and the reaction you saw. Share this with a friend or family member.

Enjoy spreading kindness and learning how being nice can make everyone feel better!
